For more than a decade, bridal stylist Lindsey Nowak has been a respected fixture in Charleston's flourishing wedding industry. Trusted by brides, planners, magazine editors, and photographers alike, she’s well known for her ability to artfully marry the best of trendy and timeless, resulting in picture-perfect looks for big days, bridal portraits, editorial fashion shoots, fashion shows, look books, and more. A regular at New York’s Bridal Fashion Week, she’s ever in the know of what’s in vogue nationwide—knowledge that she carefully combines with her tried-and-true understanding of Charleston brides’ unique styles and sensibilities.
With a communications degree from Clemson University, Lindsey has worn many hats within the communications and bridal fields. Former titles range from editor, advertising manager, sales assistant, style director, and blogger, to event coordinator, event planner, manager, buyer, and trunk show account representative (the latter role she filled for national juggernauts Monique Lhuillier and Romona Keveza; the former for a variety of all-star local businesses, from Maddison Row and LulaKate to Gathering Floral + Event Design and Charleston Fashion Week). Currently, she serves as fashion director for Charleston Wedding Week™ and bridal fashion consultant for Kristin Newman Designs, all while juggling myriad freelance styling projects for the likes of Charleston Weddings magazine, The Knot, Charleston Flower Workshop, and more.
Over the years, Lindsey’s work has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, BRIDES, Southern Weddings, Charleston Weddings, Pacific Weddings, Smitten, The Wedding Wire, and The Wedding Row, and in 2015, she served as a featured speaker at Bliss & Bespoke, a Charleston-based nuptial planning retreat. Through these outlets and others, Lindsey continues to shine as a thought-leader, style expert, and creative powerhouse within the local wedding field and beyond.
